Rules of Ultimate Tic Tac Toe

Ultimate Tic Tac Toe is played on a 3x3 grid of smaller Tic Tac Toe boards. The goal is to win three small boards in a row, column, or diagonal, just like in regular Tic Tac Toe.

Players take turns placing their marks (X or O) in the smaller boards. Each turn, a player must play in the corresponding smaller board that matches the position of the last move.

For example, if a player places their mark in the top-left cell of a smaller board, the next player must play in the top-left smaller board.

If a player wins a smaller board, it is marked as won and no further moves can be made in that board. The first player to win three smaller boards in a row, column, or diagonal wins the game.
